Primary Hockey Schools Hockey Festival 2007.
Reffley Primary School this year's winners.
Primary Schools took part in this year's competition, this included teams from Brancaster, Methwold, St Edmunds and Reffley Primary Schools. 7 teams in total played a round robin competition. The Festival organised by Lee Dowers, Community Hockey Coach working as part of the KES Sports Partnership team that links Cluster Schools with local sports clubs. The festival played at local hockey club 'Pelicans' at Lynnsport was enjoyed by all. Lee was particularly impressed with the overall enthusiasm and the sporting conduct of all the schools. There were some very talented children present that will hopefully join local clubs and school teams in the future. Reffley won in true style with losing a game all day, they were followed closely by Brancaster and Methwold schools. Many thanks goes to all those involved, Tracy Bower for umpiring and Students Karyn Brown and Hannah groom for being excellent match officials for the day.
