Smithdon High School Cluster News
In April the Smithdon Cluster saw it's first Multiskill festival for Key Stage one students take place at Premier Raquets, Sedgeford. Over 100 Year two students attended the event each experiencing activities in SAQ, Balance, Hockey, Tennis, Football and Basketball. Thesessions were delivered by Premier Raquet staff and the students attending represented the following schools: King George, Bircham, Sedgeford, Glebe House, Dersingham Infant, Flitcham, Brancaster and Hunstanton Infant.
The success of this first venture will now ensure that it becomes an annual event on the cluster calendar.
To St Georges Junior and Flitcham Primary Tag Rugby squads who have both qualified for the County Finals on Monday 19th May. We wish them both the best of luck.
Year 2 and 3/4 Football Festival
A wet and windy evening at Smithdon High School saw eight schools taking part in this year's festival.
Players from Glebe House, Dersingham Infant and Snettisham were integrated into three squads for the Year 2 festival while teams from Redgate, St Georges, Heacham Junior, Snettisham, Glebe House and Brancaster competed for the Year 3/4 trophy. Credit must go to all players who braved the elements to provide some highly entertaining play. The outright winners were Redgate Junior school from Hunstanton.
On 18th March our cluster Netball tournament took place at Smithdon High school. Eight schools competed in the new Hi5 format which produced some very competitive and closely fought matches.

The eventual winners were Redgate Junior School who then went on to represent the cluster at the Partnership Finals.
