King Edward VII School is a successful 11-18 Voluntary Controlled comprehensive school situated in King's Lynn, West Norfolk. We have been a Specialist Sports College since September 2000.
We strive to provide a caring and well organised environment in which students have an equal opportunity to achieve their full potential.
The work of the school can be encapsulated in our Value Statements :
- The Pursuit of Excellence
- A belief in Every individual
- Working together
- A sense of Enjoyment
We always seek to maintain an innovative and cutting edge approach towards the learning and personal development of our students. We encourage positive attitudes and aim to provide an environment in which all learners feel valued, challenged and secure, and where they can develop the skills and confidence to become young adults prepared for the future challenges of an exciting and increasingly global world.
Students have the opportunity to develop a wide range of transferrable skills in leadership, teamwork and co-operation through participation in a broad range of opportunities beyond the classroom such as sport, art, drama and community service.
We are proud of the great successes our pupils have received at all levels and we are equally proud our achievements across a broad spectrum of activities whether they be personal and social, sporting, artistic, musical, cultural or other enrichment activities.
We are very proud of our school, its achievements, its history and its reputation and we are constantly striving to build on our successes and look forward to the future as we work together to help pupils reach their full potential.
This website intends to give you an idea of the school. I hope you enjoy looking at our site.
